Volunteer Update

Our Casting Call for Volunteers was a great success—full of energy, ideas, and new connections. Thanks to our board members and volunteers who came out to welcome and inspire newcomers. It worked!

We’re excited to report:

• A highly experienced Fundraising Chair has joined us and will be building her own committee.

• At least two strong new board members will come on the board, with others exploring the role

• Two experienced administrative volunteers are already booked to help next week.

• A potential volunteer director and new film reviewers and researchers have stepped forward.

• New volunteers are joining our marketing and social media team,

• Our MRU PR students captured photos and short videos and are helping launch our volunteer recruitment campaign with new flyers, posters, and social media content.

  
  

We are still looking for

• a volunteer bookkeeper to help us with the monthly books while we have only a handful of entries per month.

• a volunteer tech advisor to help us maximize our Microsoft grant to share files and backup efficiently.

• A few more film reviewers and researchers
