Executive Director Search

Our search for a part-time Executive Director to provide both creative and operational leadership is underway. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about film, social impact, and building a values-driven arts organization.



About the Role 

The Executive Director works closely with the Board, programmers, volunteers, and partners to shape the Festival’s artistic direction and oversee its operations.


Responsibilities include programming leadership, fundraising including grant writing, financial oversight, partnerships, communications, and event delivery. This is a collaborative, hands-on role in a small and growing organization.

Position Details

· Contract position (flexible working hours)

· Monthly honorarium (commensurate with experience)

· Approximately 20 hours per week, with seasonal fluctuations


THIRD ACTion Film Festival is working toward establishing financial sustainability. A key part of this role is helping grow the organization to support a fully funded, full-time Executive Director position in the future


Ideal Candidate 

You bring senior leadership experience in the arts, non-profit, film, or cultural sector; strong communication and fundraising skills; and a collaborative, mission-aligned leadership style.
