Casting Call for THIRD ACTion Film Festival Volunteers

Are you interested in film, arts, culture or community events? THIRD ACTion Film Festival is looking for volunteers and is hosting an information session on Saturday, January 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Calgary Public Library (Central).



This casual, low-pressure event gives attendees an introduction to THIRD ACTion Film Festival and its mission to change the dialogue on aging through film. The session will include a brief overview of the organization, time to meet the team, and opportunities to ask questions and have one-on-one or small-group conversations about getting involved.


Volunteer opportunities include marketing and social media, film reviewing, fundraising, administration, event support, and leadership roles such as committee or board members.


No prior festival experience is required, and most roles are flexible, averaging about one day per month. Whether you’re a student, working professional, retiree, or simply curious about getting involved in community arts work, this session is a chance to see if volunteering with THIRD ACTion Film Festival is a good fit.
