Canadian Seniors Film Showcase – Celebrating Stories from Older Filmmakers
Join us on June 6, 2025, for the inaugural Canadian Seniors Film Showcase, a special event within the THIRD ACTion Film Festival. This showcase highlights the creativity and perspectives of Canadian senior filmmakers aged 60 and above.
From numerous submissions, a jury of industry professionals has shortlisted outstanding short films, each no longer than 15 minutes and completed within the last three years. These films span various genres, offering a rich tapestry of narratives that challenge stereotypes and celebrate the experiences of older adults.
This Event is available Online Across Canada & In-person at The Confluence in Calgary.
