Dinner with friends takes a dark turn and leads a retired jazz singer (Valerie Harper) suffering with Alzheimer's and her caregiver (Liz Torres) to a proverbial crossroads on the streets of East Los Angeles where they encounter The Girl (Harmony Santana) and the three very disparate -- desperate -- women pull each other back into the light.
